Founded in 1984 by Dr. Samuel Tafese as a waterproofing and construction firm, Sunshine has grown into a diversified conglomerate spanning real estate, construction, hospitality, and roads. The group reports more than 11,500 residential and commercial units delivered and over 1,100 km of roads built. Its real estate arm is mid-premium, offering gated villas, townhouses, and apartments for middle and upper-middle-income buyers, making it one of Ethiopia's oldest and most established developers.
